Peel, wash and wipe the potatoes dry, cut them into slices. Place them
in a large saucepan, add the crushed garlic, the milk, the cream, season
with salt, pepper and nutmeg and cook for approximately 20 minutes. Pour
the contents of the pan into a gratin dish and bake for 10 minutes in a
hot oven (410F). Meanwhile, boil some water in the bottom of a steaming
pan, spread the dill leaves onto the slotted upper part of the steaming
pan, lay the salmon fillet cut into 6 pieces and steam for 5 to 6 minutes.
Place the salmon pieces directly on the potato gratin and serve immediately.
